Your Mall, and Mine.

I went to the mall we used to frequent.

Amazingly it is not the same –
The shampoo is in a different counter,
nobody is looking for dresses,
and our burger-riddled selves are gone.

You used to be omnipresent –
like the Metro station.
Always stopping
there at the Mall
but it was just engineering.

I walked around our mall tonight,
looking at the ceiling,
and at the couples inside the shops
but it was just architecture.

I even had tea where we last met
You were with the Zeus – the albino.
But it was only for the free wi-fi.
